Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

Police responded Jan. 28 to a local alternative school where there was a report of possession of marijuana.

The principal of the school said he overheard a student tell another student he had some “bud.”

When confronted by school officials, the student admitted to having marijuana in his pocket.

The officer planned on obtaining a warrant for the student’s arrest. The student was suspended three days from school.

Officers were dispatched Sunday to the 300 block of Chanticleer Place in reference to criminal damage. The complainant said someone had been egging his house for the past three days.

Over the course of three days, approximately 15 eggs had been hurled at his house.

The man had no idea who would want to egg his house. There is no suspect information at this time.

Police responded Sunday to the 100 block of Buccaneer Loop in reference to an auto theft.

The complainant said someone had gained access to his vehicle earlier in the day, taking a credit card.

He said the card had already been canceled and no charges were made.

Neighbors said they hadn’t seen or heard anything.
