Mary F. Clark, 95, of Montrose, Colo., died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at Heidi’s Chateau in Montrose.
She was born on July 2, 1909, in Kevil, Ky., to Eligah and Laura Bell Eminiser Freeman. She spent her childhood in Kentucky and Oklahoma, and attended Waynoka High School in Oklahoma. She married Byron L. Clark on Oct. 1, 1926, in Mooreland, Okla. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Clovis and the Montrose Christian Church in Montrose, Colo. Family members said she loved and greatly enjoyed her family, church, gardening and roses, crocheting and needlework.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Donald Clark; five brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Durham (and husband, Jack) of Montrose, Colo.; three granddaughters, Deena Marquardt of Montrose, Laura Bond (Craig) of Brookings, S.D. and Donnette McCrea (Chuck) of Eldorado, Kan.; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
