Lawanna Stroud, 63, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, in Muleshoe.
She was born Nov. 28, 1941, in Muleshoe. She was a lifelong resident of Muleshoe. She married Ray Stroud in Muleshoe on March 31, 1979, and worked as a homemaker. She was a member of the Richland Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Calvin Ray and Silas D. Stroud of Clovis and Frank Stroud of Portales; four daughters, Gladys Hendrich of Fort Worth, Texas, Glenda Hyatt of Portales, Joyce Crooks of Lubbock and Carolyn Van Wettering of Portales; a sister, Brenda Marie Hill of Snyder, Texas; two nephews, Chris Lee of Snyder and Brandon Lee of Amarillo; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Rd., Lubbock, TX 79424.
The Rev. Bennie Wright of Muleshoe will officiate.
