2/20 Court Dispositions

The following criminal dispositions were filed recently in the Curry County Magistrate Court:

n Juanita A. Gonzales, 30, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 75 suspended, and $192 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation with 98 hours community service.

n James R. Ellison, 36, pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all suspended, and $75 court costs and fees. Placed on unsupervised probation.

n Hector Fierro, 52, pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain traffic lane, and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Sentenced to 90 days in county jail, all but two suspended, and $360 court costs.

n Wade C. Woods, 35, pleaded innocent to careless driving and causing an accident involving damage to a vehicle. Found guilty in non-jury trial and sentenced to 90 days in county jail, all suspended, $98 court costs and fees, $300 charitable contribution, and payment of damages to victim’s vehicle. Placed on unsupervised probation.

n John T. Chavez, 19, admitted to violating probation on March 18, 2004, conviction for battery on a household member. Probation revoked and new sentence imposed of 364 days in county jail, all but 90 suspended, and returned to supervised probation.

n Alicia Coleman, 20, pleaded guilty to contempt of court. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 14 days suspended, and $67 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation for remaining period.

n Jose G. Contreras Jr., 22, pleaded guilty to concealing identity. Sentenced to 182 days in county jail, all but seven suspended, and $67 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation.

n Jimmy D. Apodaca, 19, pleaded guilty to careless driving, failure to give immediate notice of an accident, and driving while license suspended. Sentenced to 90 days in county jail, all suspended, and $485 court costs and fees. Placed on unsupervised probation.

n Sylvia Villalbolos, 44, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated. Sentenced to 90 days in county jail, all but two suspended, and $215 court costs and fees. Placed on 362 days supervised probation.

n Victor Lucero, 30, pleaded innocent to no insurance. Found guilty in non-jury trial. Judgment deferred 90 days, ordered to pay $75 court costs and fees and make $50 charitable contribution, and placed on unsupervised probation.

n John Chavez, 19, pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. Sentenced to 15 days in county jail and $192 court costs. Placed on 167 days supervised probation.

n Matthew Martinez, 21, pleaded no contest to driving with expired vehicle registration and driving while license suspended. Judgment deferred 90 days, ordered to pay $130 court costs and fees at $50 per month, and placed on unsupervised probation.

n Ulysses Solis, 19, pleaded guilty to possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, second offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 20 suspended, and $564 court costs and fees at $50 per month. Placed on supervised probation.

n Jason R. Guster, 27, pleaded guilty to failure to yield, driving without insurance, and leaving the scene of an accident. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all suspended, and $602 court costs and fees, all but $402 suspended, at $50 per month. Placed on unsupervised probation.

n Alan T. Sumner, 25, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated, first offense, and driving without insurance. Sentenced to 90 days in county jail, all suspended, and $670 court costs and fees at $50 per month. Placed on supervised probation with $30 monthly probation costs and various conditions.

n Joshua Fallis, 21, pleaded no contest to driving without insurance, driving while license revoked, and driving with expired vehicle registration. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 60 suspended with credit, and $785 court costs and fees. Placed on unsupervised probation.

n Michael Aguilar, 39, pleaded guilty to shoplifting $100 to $250 and resisting an officer. Sentenced to two consecutive terms of 364 days in county jail, all but 238 suspended, and $114 court costs and fees at $50 per month. Allowed to serve jail time in rehab center if defendant makes all arrangements. Placed on supervised probation.

n Ronnie Barnes, 54, pleaded guilty to battery on a household member. Judgment deferred 364 days, ordered to pay $67 court costs and fees, and placed on supervised probation.

n Lee F. Martinez, 48, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. Sentenced to 182 days in county jail, all but 33 days suspended, and $67 court costs and fees. Placed on unsupervised probation.

n Gustavo Morin, 46, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 10 suspended, and $67 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation.

n Refugio Flores, 51, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 10 suspended, and $67 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation.

n David A. Garcia, no age recorded, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 30 suspended and $67 court costs and fees. Placed on unsupervised probation. Allowed to perform 13 hours community service at Lighthouse Mission in lieu of payment.

n Nonato Ronnie Padilla, 36, admitted to violating probation on Nov. 14, 2003, conviction for aggravated battery. Probation revoked and new sentence imposed of 364 days in county jail with credit for 361 served, and released with unsatisfactory probation discharge noted.

n Linda Cordova, 19, pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended and driving without insurance. Judgment deferred 90 days, ordered to pay $130 court costs and fees at $50 per month, and placed on unsupervised probation.

n Julian Murillo, 27, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked, driving without insurance, and no vehicle registration. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 100 suspended, and $485 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation.

n Phillip Griggs, 61, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked and driving without insurance. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 64 suspended, and $430 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation.

n John A. Castillo, 34, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, second offense, and no driver’s license. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 60 suspended, and $770 court costs and fees at $50 per month. Placed on supervised probation for remaining period.

n Patricia L. Lopez, 30, pleaded guilty to possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, second offense. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all suspended, and $242 court costs and fees at $50 per month. Allowed to perform 38 community service in lieu of payment. Placed on supervised probation.

n Pedro Elizando, 23, pleaded no contest to battery and criminal trespass. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all suspended, $114 court costs and fees at $50 per month, and victim restitution. Placed on supervised probation.

n Tobias Cordova, 26, pleaded no contest to driving while license suspended. Judgment deferred 90 days, ordered to pay $75 court costs and fees, and placed on unsupervised probation.

n Jerry Kunkel, 52, pleaded innocent to driving while intoxicated, third offense, expired registration, and no insurance. Found guilty in jury trial and sentenced to 364 days in county jail, all but 149 suspended, and $1,675 court costs and fees, all but $1,475 suspended. Placed on supervised probation.

n Roderick A. Grey, 25, pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended or revoked. Sentenced to 364 days in county jail and $1,000 fine, all suspended, and $75 court costs and fees. Placed on supervised probation with 48 hours community service, $100 charitable contribution.
