Novirene “Dick H.” Wallace, 89, of Clovis, died Monday, March 14, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on July 5, 1915, in Killeen, Texas, to John and Dora Shope Hoover.

She was an administrative assistant to P.E. and Pearl Jordan, Wesley Quinn, Judge Ernest Lokey, Dee Blythe, Julia Witherspoon, David Norvell and Billie Cox.

Family members said she loved to garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include a son, Andy Wallace (and wife, Jill) of Reno, Nev.; two daughters, Anne Horton (Jim) of Clovis and Sarah Holcomb (Ron) of Midland, Texas; eight grandchildren, Teresa Jacobs of Clovis, d'Jon Roeschke of Plano, Texas, Greg Holcomb of Plano, Texas, Curt Holcomb of Dallas, Texas, Jennifer Wallace of Reno, Nev., Brian Snyder of Albuquerque, Todd Snyder of Celina, Texas, and Christy Dotson of Albuquerque; and nine great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Larry Cantwell will officiate the service.

Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories.

Pallbearers are Ron Garrett, Mike Duty, Jody Barnett, Curt and Greg Holcomb and Kelly Roeschke.

Honorary Pallbearers are A.C. Bryant, Harold Wuest, Jack Muse, Louis Yarborough, Andy Chitwood, Judge Steven Quinn, Dr. Stephen Haynes, Dr. David Stalker and Retirement Ranch Employees.

Memorial Contributions maybe made to the activity fund at Retirement Ranch in Clovis or the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch.
