CHS alum leads NMSU in conference championships

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Clovis High alum and New Mexico State junior Robert Goff is tied for 13th place going into the final round of the Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf Championship.

Goff led the tournament after round one with a 5-under-par 67. But he ballooned to a 9-over 81 in Tuesday’s second round. He has a two-round score of 4-over 148.

The NMSU men's golf team shot a 29-over 317 Tuesday to drop from second place to eighth.

The final round is today.
