Delma Wiley, 79, of Clovis, died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on April 8, 1926, in Buffalo, Texas, to David Sr. and Leona Caldwell.

She married Earnest Wiley on Nov. 20, 1945. She worked as a cook, bus driver and assisted in private home care. She also owned and operated thrift stores in Clovis and Texico. She was a member of True Victory Church and First Church of God in Christ. She was a licensed missionary and the church mother at True Victory Church. Family members said she was well known, loved by many, and was a true soldier for the Lord.
