Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

At 10:40 p.m. Thursday, police arrested and transported a juvenile male to the Curry County Juvenile Detention Center for minor in possession of alcohol and possession of marijuana.

Police arrested the 17-year-old juvenile male for having an open bottle of beer under his passenger seat, after the vehicle he was in was pulled over on the intersection of 1st and Main Streets for a broken a headlight. After searching the juvenile police found a bag of marijuana in his sock.

At 1:50 a.m. Friday, police responded to a motel room on the 2600 block of Mabry Drive in reference to a domestic dispute.

Police were told by a 40-year-old female occupant of the room that she was hit with a cane by the other occupant, a 69-year-old male. Police determined the woman had an injury but it was not caused by the male occupant and no charges were issued.

At 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, a woman in the 1200 block of Lea Street called police to report missing items from her car. She told police $140 worth of CDs and a tool set were taken from her car, parked in front of her house between noon and when she called police. A neighbor told police he saw the door of the car open but didn’t see anyone in the area.

Police have no suspects.
