Mary C. Gonzales

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Mary C. Gonzales, 69, of Clovis, died Friday, May 5, 2006, at Plains Regional Medical Center.

Born on May 22, 1936, in Vaughn, she married Alfonso Gonzales on Nov. 13, 1963. She enjoyed her grandchildren, playing bingo and cards, putting together puzzles and crocheting, family members said. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Senon Aragon and Floripa Tafoya Aragon; her husband, and her son, Alfonso Gonzales Jr.

She is survived by four sons, Val Gonzales (and wife, Margaret), Johnny Gonzales (Ruby) and Joe Gonzales, all of Clovis, and Manuel Chavez (Jennie) of Pueblo, Colo.; three daughters, Tina Chavez (Clifford) of Portales, and Lucille Mondragon, and Cipriana Aragon (Peter), all of Clovis; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; four brothers, Modesto Aragon (Mary Jane), Albino Aragon (Amelia) and Joe Aragon, all of Clovis, and Senon Aragon Jr. (Ida), of Topeka, Kan.; and five sisters, Lucila Nelson and Rosita Romero, both of Clovis, Nora Zarbough (Steve) and Terri Anaya (George), all of San Antonio, Texas, and Cipriana Woolis of Wichita Falls, Texas.

A rosary for her will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Father Sotero Sena will officiate services.

Cremation will take place. Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends.
