Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
Around 3:30 p.m. Friday, an officer met with a man at the police department who said he had been battered by an employee at a bank in the 200 block of Main Street. The man said he was asked to step into a bank office to discuss an incident which occurred earlier in the week. He said they were both getting upset when the man began pushing him in the chest and then escorted him from the bank and told him not to return. The case is under investigation.

About midnight Sunday, an officer was called to the intersection of Second and Reid streets in reference to a domestic battery. The officer noted a woman holding her jaw who appeared in pain. She said she had been arguing with her boyfriend and he had hit her. She believed her jaw was dislocated. She was transported to the hospital. Officers were unable to locate the suspect at that time.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday, an officer was dispatched to an apartment in the 1200 block of West Street in reference to a battery. The residents of the apartment said a man had been causing trouble earlier, left and later returned, forcing his way through the door, knocking one woman over and standing on the hand of a child. The caller said she asked him what the problem was and he said he didn’t care about killing children.
Police were unable to locate the suspect.

About midnight Monday, an officer was called to the 1700 block of Tiffany Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked near a residence. The officer discovered a male juvenile laying on his stomach on the roof of the home. The juvenile said he was star gazing. The juvenile was taken into custody and issued a citation for criminal trespass then released to the custody of his parents.
