Floyd track ready for state

The Floyd Lady Broncos wrapped up their district season Saturday with a second place finish at the district meet in Melrose.

Ten girls and two boys from the Floyd Varsity Track team are headed to state.

Alexis Benoit, Jessica Christensen, Bree Ann Lancaster, Medeline Love, Elena Mendoza, Christina Tenerio, Tanna Whitecotton, and Kelsi Gray will participate in relays as well as individual events. Cassie Breshears will compete in the 3200, and Tori Tucker will throw the javelin.

Floyd’s Chay Chenault and Jesus Davalos are qualified on the boys side of the state meet.
