Background: Before taking the position at the courthouse, Hernandez worked for the Dora Schools for eight years in a similar position.

Q. Describe what your job entails?

A. Cleaning windows, cutting the grass, trimming trees, vacuuming, trying to keep the secretaries happy, emptying the trash, cleaning the restrooms and cleaning the courtroom for the next day.

Q. What is a typical day on the job like for you?

A. Mostly right now cleaning the courtroom and making it ready for the next day. That’s my biggest thing right now and daily maintenance.

Q. Why did you choose this job?

A. I wanted something closer to town and home. It’s a good place to work. I like it here. The people I work for are good and friendly.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?

A. Mostly talking to people and I enjoy cleaning up.
