Christ greatest gift of Christmas season

Christmas is all about giving. There is no greater gift, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). This is the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us for 33 years. Those years were spent imparting gifts to mankind, the greatest of which is salvation. Jesus spent his years on earth loving, healing and performing miracles for the human race. He voluntarily gave his life to redeem the sin-sick soul of man.

With this in mind, how could we ever reciprocate? Is there any gift on Planet Earth to match his unspeakable gift of love and sacrifice?

Obviously, the answer is “no,” but we can give him gifts from the heart.

Let the Lord’s true meaning of love and sacrifice penetrate your innermost being this Christmas. Let’s give him hearts filled with love for his immeasurable love. Give him honor. He is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Give him glory. He is heaven’s glory and Satan’s dread. Give him respect and reverence. A lack of respect displays triviality and insincerity.

God is our friend, but he is also our sovereign Lord and he is a holy God.

In Matthew 2:11, the Bible tells about the gift of the Magi. They worshiped Jesus for who he was, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Can we do no less?

The essence of true worship is displaying love for Jesus and being willing to be the best you can be.

The believer’s heart will continue to be touched by the story of the Christ Child. From the cradle to the grave the story will continue to be told. God’s word will never pass away but will remain to the end of time.

Jesus never wrote a book, and yet all the libraries in the world could not hold the books that have been written about him.

He never wrote a song and yet he has been the theme for more songs than all the songwriters combined.

Though 2,000 years have come and gone he still reigns.

Herod could not destroy him, and the grave could not hold him.

There was no room in the inn on that wondrous Christmas night. What about me today?

Is there room in my heart for the Christ Child?

This is what Christmas is all about, keeping Jesus in the heart.

Keeping Jesus in one’s heart is the secret to having the joy of Christmas not just once a year, but every day!

“Let’s have Christmas every day of the year. Let love and faith fill each day.

Reach out to others with his great love. Be a blessing along the way.

Let’s have Christmas every day of the year. Each day make a brand new start.

The blessing will surely return back to you because Christmas is in your heart

Merry Christmas!
