Habitat looking for applicants
Habitat for Humanity Roosevelt and Curry Counties is holding a Habitat Town Meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Memorial Building in Portales.
The organization is looking for applicants to purchase a home as well as volunteers.

Altrusa sets spaghetti supper
Altrusa Club of Portales will hold its annual Spaghetti Supper from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Portales High School Cafeteria. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10.
The meal includes spaghetti, meat sauce, fresh garden salad, bread sticks and a choice of fruit cobblers plus coffee or tea.
Tickets are available at the door or from any Altrusa member. Proceeds go to the Altrusa Sight For Life eyeglasses program.
