DOMENICI STATEMENT ON DEPARTURE OF STAFF MEMBER AUTUMN MOORE OF CLOVIS
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Pete Domenici today announced the departure of his staff member Autumn Moore of Clovis.
Moore, who completed an internship with Domenici’s office in the summer of 2005, has served in various capacities, including legislative correspondent and legislative aide, since the summer of 2006. She leaves Domenici’s office to work with Chairman Nancy Nord of the Consumer Product Safety Commission in Bethesda, Md.
“I’ve been pleased to have Autumn as a member of my staff. I expect that the same hard work and professionalism that made her such an asset to my work as U.S. Senator will serve her well as she moves onto the next phase of her career with the Consumer Product Safety Commission,” said Domenici.
Moore is the daughter of Thom and Cozetta Moore of Portales. She graduated in 1999 from Clovis Christian School before receiving her Bachelors of Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico University in 2006.
First elected in 1972, Domenici is New Mexico’s longest serving Senator. He currently serves as ranking member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and is a senior member of both the Senate Appropriations and Senate Budget Committeees.
