Senate Committee Okays New Project for Cannon AFB

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Pete Domenici today reported committee approval of an emergency supplemental spending package that could influence U.S. military installations in New Mexico, and provide providing funding for a new military construction project at Cannon Air Force Base at Clovis.

Domenici serves on the Senate Appropriations Committee that today approved a FY2008 Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Bill, which is primarily designed to support U.S. military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
