CASPER, Wyo. — Eastern New Mexico University’s Tyrell Flewelling and Kyle Roberts placed in the Top 10 in the first round of team roping Monday at the College National Rodeo Finals.
Flewelling, a freshman from Alberta, Can., teamed with Arena Robertson of Weatherford (Texas) College to tie for seventh with a time of 6.6 seconds.
Roberts, a junior from Durango, Colo., teamed with Kory Bramwell of Ranger (Texas) Junior College to tie for ninth with a time of 6.7.
On Sunday, ENMU senior Jared Green of Socorro placed 20th in the first round of the bareback bronc riding with a score 68.5 points.
