Forrest plans community reunion
The community of Forrest will hold a community reunion beginning at 10:30 a.m. July 5.
Lunch will cost $8.50 for adults, $5 for children.
The community will create a memory board. Copies of photographs or other memorabilia are welcome. Photos will not be returned. Copies can be mailed or brought to the reunion.
Checks for lunch should be made to Forrest Community Center and mailed to Mary Sours, 4016 QR AI, McAlister, N.M. 88427.
Andy and Don to perform
Andy Mason and Don Thomas will perform from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday at the Do Drop In, off the square in Portales.
The performance will include acoustic music under the stars.
No cover charge.
