The Portales Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Thursday morning, said Portales Police Capt. Lonnie Berry.
Portales Police dispatch received a call from Roosevelt General Hospital at 5:10 a.m., reporting a male subject with a gunshot wound to the leg
being treated in the emergency room, according to Portales Police Department dispatch officials.
One male subject was treated and released from Roosevelt General Hospital for a gunshot wound, Berry said.
The Police Department is currently investigating the incident and no arrests have been made, Berry said.
