Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:
About 9 a.m. Nov. 10 an officer responded to a business in the 2000 block of Seventh Street for a report of larceny.
An employee said a man came into the business to sell burritos. The employee said she went to the back of the business to take orders from employees and when she returned, the cash register was open and the man was in a hurry to leave. A $100 bill was missing.
The officer located the suspect, who admitted the money, but said he had already spent half of it. The officer returned the remaining money to the business.
The suspect was notified he would be summoned to municipal court for larceny.

About 3 p.m. Nov. 10 an officer responded to a school in the 1500 block of Sycamore Street for a report of narcotics.
School administrators said they found what appeared to be drugs in the possession of a 13-year-old male student.
School officials gave the officer the shell of an ink pen, which contained marijuana.
Another student was called to the office on the belief he had given the boy the drugs.
The second boy turned over a flashlight with a small baggy of marijuana in the battery cavity.
The boys were issued citations for possession of marijuana.

About midnight Nov. 11 an officer responded to the 3000 block of Sheridan for a battery report.
A woman said she was walking west on Seventh Street when a male came toward her, grabbed her by the hair and pulled her between two buildings.
She said he struggled with him, ending up on her back and he began ripping her clothes.
The woman said she kicked the man in the face and was able to run.
The woman provided police with a description of the suspect.

Around 11 a.m. Nov. 11 an officer was dispatched to a business in the 2000 block of 21st Street for an unruly subject.
An employee said a woman came in with her baby and demanded her child be seen by a doctor.
The employee said when the woman was told she would have to wait and could not obtain all of the services she wanted that day, she began cursing at the staff.
The officer contacted the woman, who denied any wrongdoing.
