Grant application on council agenda

At today’s Portales City Council meeting at 7 p.m. in City Hall, councilors are to vote on a resolution authorizing the city to work with Eastern New Mexico University on a grant application for the Blackwater Draw site.

The agenda also includes a report from the Finance/Administration Committee and the proposed appointment of City Councilor Antonio Salguero and County Commissioner Jake Lopez to that committee. In addition, councilors are to vote on the last change order for the Industrial Park loop waterline and a resolution to adopt a Portales Housing Plan update.
