Hospital board to discuss red flag rule

The Roosevelt General Hospital board is scheduled to discuss a “red flag rule” dealing with the security of personal information during the meeting at 5:30 p.m. today in the hospital conference room. Hospital Administrator James D’Agostino said the red flag rule is a new federally mandated regulation dealing with procedures for hospitals giving out personal information.

The agenda also includes an announcement of the Covenant Health System CEO Melinda Clark, as well as hospital reports and the annual approval of policies and procedures manuals for the business office, cardiac rehabilitation, environmental services and rehabilitation services.
