Sen. Jeff Bingaman is in his sixth term as New Mexico senator. He is the senior member from New Mexico and chairs the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. He visited the Freedom New Mexico offices Wednesday as part of a series of visits with New Mexico cities while Congress is on recess.
