Land use committee meeting Wednesday

Curry and Roosevelt Counties will host a policy committee meeting as part of the Cannon Air Force Base Joint Land Use Study 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Curry County Courthouse Commission Room, located at 700 N. Main St. in Clovis, according to a news release from Curry County.

The purpose of the study is to help implement compatible land uses around the base and Melrose Bombing Range, according to the release.

The committee meeting is open to the public, and a copy of the final agenda is to be available 24 hours before the meeting at http://www.currycounty.org or by calling 763-6016.
