Former ENMU student body president dies in rollover

A former Eastern New Mexico University student body president died after rolling his vehicle Sunday in Texas, according to the university and the Amarillo Globe-News.

Stephen Michael Frost, 26, of Amarillo was northbound in a 2001 Ford F-250 pickup on Texas Highway 207 about 10 miles north of Silverton when he ran into the ditch while trying to turn west onto Farm-to-Market Road 146, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.

Frost overcorrected and the vehicle rolled about three times, ejecting him.

Frost was pronounced dead at the scene.

Frost was student body president at ENMU during the 2006-2007 school year.
