Place: The Maize

What is it? The Maize is a corn maze a person has to navigate through to get to the end.

Where is it? Just outside Shallowater, Texas. Take U.S. 70 from Clovis and go east on FM 1294 from Shallowater. About an hour an a half from base.

What can people see here? In addition to a corn maze, there are farm animals, campfires, a corn cannon, the cow train, miniature mazes for the kids, a hay ride, and a pumpkin patch.

By reservation:

• 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday for schools

• 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday for groups

• 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday

• 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday

• 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday
