Incident management courses offered

Three incident management courses will be taught in February at the north annex of the Clovis-Carver Public Library.

Courses are intended for emergency response agencies, and are paid for through grant monies.

• A Feb. 8 MGT 347 (ICS forms class) course will last 4 hours. There is a requirement of at least 26 students minimum, and nine have registered as of Tuesday.

• A Feb. 9-11 class will run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day for MGT 313 (Incident Management/Unified Command for CBRNE/Terrorism Incidents, ICS 300 equivalent). There will be a 35-student minimum, with 10 registered as of Tuesday.

• A Feb 14-15 class will run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days for MGT344 (Advanced Incident Management/Unified Command, ICS 400 equivalent). There is a requirement of at least 26 students minimum, and seven have registered as of Tuesday.
