Recent cases in Roosevelt County Magistrate Court, according to court documents:

Thursday

• Robert Wiley, born in 1989, was found guilty of first offense DWI. Wiley was sentenced to four days in jail with one day of presentence confinement credit, one year of supervised probation with monthly costs of $30 and $541 in fines and fees.

Jan. 3

• Carlos Gonzalez, born in 1984, pleaded guilty to a second offense of aggravated DWI and a charge of open container was dismissed as per a plea agreement. Gonzalez was sentenced to eight days in jail, two years of supervised probation with monthly probation costs and $741 in fines and fees.

• Gilardo Aranda, born in 1947, pleaded guilty to a second offense of DWI and a charge of not maintaining lanes was dismissed as per a plea agreement. Aranda was sentenced to four days in jail, two years of supervised probation with $30 monthly probation costs and $741 in fines and fees.

• Kristy Whittlese, no birth year available, pleaded guilty to a first offense of aggravated DWI and charges of not maintaining lanes, turn movements and not using signals were dismissed as per a plea agreement. Whittlese was sentenced to two days in jail, 364 days of supervised probation with monthly probation costs of $30, 24 hours of community service in lieu of a fine in addition to the 24 hours of community service required as a condition of probation and $241 in fees.

Dec. 21

• Adam Vinson, born in 1980, pleaded no contest to unlawful hunting or fishing, and stopping, standing or parking outside of a business or residential district. Vinson’s sentence was deferred for 30 days, and he was to pay $134 in fees.

• Alan Dale Ramirez, born in 1967, pleaded no contest to battery on a household member. Ramirez was sentenced to 147 days in jail, two years of supervised probation with costs of $30 per month and the possibility of early release from probation after completion of the batterer’s intervention program, and $173 in fines and fees.
