Press release: City to hold town hall meeting on gross receipts tax increase

The City of Clovis will be holding a Town Hall meeting at 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 31st, 2011 at the Clovis Carver Library North Annex to answer questions and present facts regarding the .25% gross receipts tax adjustment needed for the Ute Pipeline Project.

City officials and Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority representatives will discuss the need for the pipeline and answer questions the public may have regarding the adjustment which is needed to fund the City’s portion of the project.
