KENW-TV is gearing up for its 35th annual online fundraising auction with more than 1,500 items to choose from.
The goal for this year’s auction is to raise $60,000, and all proceeds go to station programming, according to a news release from KENW.
The auction runs June 1-10, with items valued at $50-$100 closing at 8 p.m. June 5 and items worth $101-$249 closing at 8 p.m. June 8. The other items close at 8 p.m. June 10.
This year, broadcast center Director of Marketing Sheryl Borden said those without Internet access can get an auction catalog for $2 and place their bids by phone. The catalog price will be deducted from the auction invoice.
According to the release, high bidders will be notified by email when the auction closes.
