Positive thinking featured on program

Information on positive thinking and flower arranging will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and noon Thursday.

Judi Moreo is a motivational speaker and an author, and she’s going to talk about her latest book titled “You Are More Than Enough,” and explain why we should associate with positive people, pick a career or life coach and much more. Moreo’s company is Turning Points International, and she lives in Las Vegas, Nev.

Casey Schwartz is a floral designer, and her company is Flower Duet. She’s going to show a floral technique called “pave,” which is a low, compact style of arranging flowers in floral foam. She’ll also discuss the technique of color blocking when creating arrangements. Schwartz lives in Redondo Beach, Calif.

Information on solutions for boring walls, cooking with organic sweeteners and making food thank-you gifts will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” at noon Tuesday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

Refinishing expert and author Bruce Johnson will share solutions for boring walls by adding moldings, baseboards, wainscoting and other design elements. He represents Minwax, which is located in Upper Saddle River, N.J.

Natural sugar expert Pauline McKee of Wholesome Sweeteners Inc. will provide a display, demonstration and actual taste test featuring natural sweeteners. She will also share some of her favorite recipes that use organic sweeteners. McKee is from Sugarland, Texas.

Tara Gillette, spokeswoman for KitchenAid in Benton Harbor, Mich., will share some great thank-you food gifts for people who don’t have time to cook but appreciate anything that is homemade. Most of the recipes make two: one for you and one to give away!
