Legislator named to task force

Rep. Dennis Roch, R-Texico, has been appointed to the New Mexico Effective Teaching Task Force, according to a release from Gov. Susana Martinez.

Roch, the assistant superintendent at Texico Schools, serves on the House Education Committee.

The 12-member task force was created through an executive order by Martinez to develop and propose policies to identify, recruit, reward and retain outstanding teachers and educators.
