• Accomplishments: Cansino is a skilled physical therapy technician who is also highly involved in base and community activities. He is a member of the Cannon Air Force Base Honor Guard. His outstanding work performance earned him the Air Force Special Operations Command Physical Medicine Team Award and Physical Medicine Apprentice Award.
• Base/community involvement: Cansino regularly volunteers for Clovis Trek for Trash and supervises the annual 27th Special Operations Medical Group Toys for Tots holiday drive. He is the 27 SOMDG’s newcomers’ infection control and local standards instructor, and he serves as a key member of the Cannon Honor Guard, participating in retirement ceremonies, changes of command, funerals, parades, and POW/MIA ceremonies.
