Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
Ticket prices and show times have been announced for the 2011 Clovis Music Festival.
The festival is planned for Sept. 8 through 11 with the theme “The Biggest Little Music City in the World” and will be held at the Curry County Events Center Sept. 9 and 10.
Sept. 8 the festival will open at 7 p.m. with the Buddy Holly Story at Marshall Middle School Auditorium.
Concerts will be held Sept. 9 and 10, welcoming the music of Lonestar, Will Banister and the Mulberry Band, The Fireballs, The Liverpool Legends and Tommy Allsup.
The festival will close at 10 a.m. Sept. 11 with Rockin’ Gospel with The Fireballs and Tommy Allsup at the Norman and Vi Petty Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum.
Tickets — $20 for Sept. 8 and 9 and $25 for Sept. 10 — are available for purchase from the Clovis-Curry County Chamber of Commerce.
The music festival will also include a classic car show, a Rockin’ Symposium and tours of the Norman and Vi Petty Studios and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum.
