Guns and Hoses
Clovis firefighters and police officers battle each other in a game of basketball 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at The Rock.
Ticket prices: Adults $4, seniors $3, ages 6 and under are free.
All proceeds go to the charity of the winner’s choice.
CRP changes
The New Mexico Farm Service Agency has extended emergency grazing of CRP acreage to Oct. 31 for drought-stricken farmers and ranchers in many counties, including Curry, Roosevelt and Quay.
