The Clovis-Carver Public Library is one of 17 libraries around the state that will participate in Fast Forward New Mexico, a grant-funded computer and Internet training program.
The program will bring eight six-hour courses to the library in September and October. Four of the courses cover basic computer and Internet skills, including information on how to buy, install and maintain a computer. There are four more advanced classes for entrepreneurs and small businesses on how to utilize the Internet to increase profitability through e-commerce, e-marketing, and social media.
The courses are funded by a $1.5 million grant to the New Mexico State Library by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
To register, contact the library at 769-7840 or visit http://www.fastforwardnm.org.
