Last time out: The Texans routed Dallas Christian 85-41 on Saturday at Stephenville, Texas. ENMU's last outing was a 76-54 loss at NCAA Division I Long Beach State on Dec. 19.

Last season: Tarleton swept ENMU, winning 77-53 at Greyhound Arena and 85-75 in Portales.

Of note: The Texans, the LSC preseason favorites, have played 11 of their first 12 games at home. … Tarleton is outscoring its opposition around 73-51 per game and ranks No. 3 in NCAA Division II in ppg allowed and opponents' FG percentage (34.3). … The Greyhounds, who are 4-0 at home this season, are shooting 47 percent from the floor and lead the LSC in scoring at 80.8 ppg. Five players are averaging in double figures, led by senior G Reggie Nelson (13.9), senior F Curtis Wilkinson (13.4) and senior G Stefan Mirabal (12.8). … Pacing the Texans are 6-1 senior G Chris Harrell (12.4 ppg), 6-7 senior F/C Fabian Wilson (11.1) and 6-6 sophomore F Zach Nelson (10.7). … Texans coach Lonn Reisman, in his 24th season at the school, is six wins short of 500 at Tarleton (494-211).

Last time out: The TexAnns' last outing was on Saturday, a 71-39 rout of McMurry University at Stephenville, Texas. Meantime, the Zias set a school scoring record in a 122-100 victory over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Monday at Goodwell, Okla.

Last season: Tarleton extended its winning streak over the Zias to eight, winning 65-59 at Greyhound Arena and 97-58 at Stephenville.

Of note: Not only was Monday's game a scoring record for ENMU, it was a combined record, breaking the previous mark of 196 in the Zias' 100-96 win over OPSU at Greyhound Arena on Nov. 15. … The TexAnns started slowly this season, but have won five in a row, including four LSC tilts. … Kiara Wright, a 6-foot-1 sophomore P, has only played the last two games for Tarleton, but has posted double-doubles in both with a combined 39 points and 23 rebounds. Sisters Shelby Adamson, a 5-7 senior G, and Peyton Adamson, a 5-7 sophomore G, lead the team in scoring for the season at 14.9 and 11.4 ppg, respectively. … With 35 points on Monday, ENMU senior F Precious Herrin increased her LSC-leading scoring average to 19.9 ppg. It was her third game this season over 30 points.
