A 35-year-old Clovis man was killed and three others injured in an early morning crash Friday at New Mexico 108 and Curry Road 14 north of Texico.
Curry County Undersheriff Wesley Waller identified the victim as Edgar Soto, a passenger in a pickup that collided with a car at the intersection about 5:35 a.m.
Waller said the pickup was driven by Corey Sears, 45, of Clovis. The driver of the car was identified as Vibek Silerio Quinones, 38, of Texico.
Soto died later at Plains Regional Medical Center.
Quinones was flown to a Lubbock hospital for treatment.
Jose Ramos, 17, of Farwell, a passenger in Quinones' car, and Sears were treated and released at PRMC.
