Cannon Air Force Base lieutenant missing

A 31-year-old lieutenant has been missing from Cannon Air Force Base for one week, according to base officials.

Lt. Scott W. Lee was last seen at 11 a.m. March 12 at his apartment in Clovis. He was scheduled to report for duty at Cannon on March 13 but never reported.

A Cannon press release said the lieutenant was last seen in a black Toyota Tacoma but has no immediate family in the area.

The release said Lee has not contacted anyone and his cellular phone is turned off. He is considered to be on Absent WithOut Leave (AWOL) status.

Sgt. Gloria Wilson, of CAFB Public Affairs, said no further information is being released.
