United Way of Easter New Mexico needs help decorating for its annual banquet.

If you can spare a few minutes, they will be decorating the Eastern New Mexico University Ballroom from noon to 3 p.m. today.

Fishing fun

Catch the right trout at the third annual Trout Derby and you could win up to $100.

The derby is 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Oasis State Park.

Trout have been tagged with winning amounts ranging from $10 to $100.

There’s a $5 fee to enter the park and a $5 fee for participating in the derby.
