Serving Clovis, Portales and the Surrounding Communities
I feel like I'll be letting a good friend down this weekend. I'm usually the one you can count on, I try to be selfless.
I'm not saying that I've never put myself first, but now my career has definitely made some choices for me.
When he walks that stage with his chiseled jaw and sparkling smile, he'll look into the crowd, and I won't be there.
But I'm so proud of Dwayne Adams. He has so much heart for everything that he does and he knows hard work.
So I hope he understands that is why I can only be at his graduation in spirit because work is a big priority right now, and I can't fly to Houston on a whim.
We've been friends for almost two years and I expect to see more years to come. His loyalty, honesty, humor, and agressiveness is what I appreciate about him most.
They say you are a reflection of your five closest friends so if this is true, with Mr. Adams as a friend, I'm headed for success.
I want to congratulate all the graduates at Texas Southern University, but my heart is with him.
I'm sure we'll reunite many times in the future, but as we often say, "see you at the top."
