Information on crafting with cupcake designs, preparing turkey recipes with a contemporary twist, and making personal family photo albums will be the featured topics on "Creative Living" 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and noon on Thursday. (All times are Mountain.)

Crafter, Maria Nerius will show how to include cupcakes in your crafts whether you're making home décor or jewelry. She'll share a website for a special e-book that includes over 30 cupcake themed projects. She is with favecrafts.com and lives in Palm Bay, Fla.

Marty Van Ness is a spokesperson and home economist for Butterball in Chicago, Ill., and she's going to tell how to enjoy turkey throughout the year — not just during the holidays. She will demonstrate traditional turkey recipe ideas with a more contemporary twist — especially good for the Millennials.

Designer, Shannon Bielke will show how to use an altered-book technique which lends itself to capturing family history, ancestors and heritage when making a personal family photo album. Her business is Sha & Co. in Payson, Ariz.

Information on reverse appliqué techniques, cooking with gourmet potatoes, and entertaining tips will be the featured topics on "Creative Living" noon on Tuesday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. (All times are Mountain.)

June Mellinger, Brother Sewing Machines, will show how to create appliqués quickly and easily with a reverse appliqué technique. She's from Bridgewater, N.J.

Connie Cahill, spokesperson for the Colorado Potato Administrative Cmte., will demonstrate some easy and unusual recipes that call for nutritious potatoes. She'll also discuss and show the new "gourmet" potatoes on the market. She's from Monte Vista, Colo.

Sue Langdon represents the North Carolina SweetPotato Comm., and she will share tips and tactics for keeping entertaining under control whether for a large crowd or for an intimate gathering. Langdon lives in Smithfield, N.C.

Creamy Colorado potato fudge

w 3 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate

w 3 Tbsp. butter

w 1/3 cup mashed Colorado potatoes, unseasoned

w 1/8 tsp. salt

w 1 tsp. vanilla

w 1 lb. sifted powdered sugar

w 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler. Remove from heat. Add potatoes, salt and vanilla; mix well. Blend in sugar and mix thoroughly. Add nuts and knead until smooth. Press into buttered 8-inch square pan. Cool in refrigerator before cutting. Makes 64 pieces.
