While local school districts welcomed new and old students, the Child Development Centers on base continue year-round operations for military families.
Both centers offer care for children aged six weeks to five years of age and are accredited through The National Association for the Education of Young Children.
All activities offered within the facility are geared to the needs of each child. The CDCs also offer nutritious breakfasts, lunches and snacks for those enrolled.
All base personnel are reminded to follow posted speed limit signs and watch for children during early morning commutes on and off the installation.
Staff within the CDC also urges parents to never leave children unattended in cars, whether off or idling.
