PORTALES — Undefeated Wayland Baptist scored the game's first three goals and beat Eastern New Mexico University 3-1 Wednesday in a men's soccer match.

It is Wayland's first win against ENMU in three tries (2-1-1). It was also the NAIA Pioneers second-straight win over a Division II opponent.
Wayland (6-0) scored twice in a little over a minute span in the first half to take a 2-0 lead.
Wayland extended its lead to 3-0 early in the second half when Jevaughn Vance floated a shot from 45 yards out into the right side of the goal.
Freshman midfielder Jose Nieto got ENMU (5-3) on the board on a crossing pass from Carlos Viveros for ENMU's goal 15 minutes into the second half.
The teams played to a 1-1 tie last year in Plainview, Texas.
