A firefighter with the 27th Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron helps Lathan Chavez into a fire protection suit during the fire fighters open house at Cannon Air Force Base.Fire Prevention Week is an annual event that is dedicated to spreading fire prevention techniques to the community and thanking those who serve and protect.
The base hosted several events for base personnel and dependants in an effort to encourage and promote feelings toward personal responsibility for fire prevention within the Cannon community.
