Preparations key to mission

CANNON AIR FORCE BASE — The 27th Special Operations Wing conducted a base-wide exercise Oct. 26-30. at Cannon Air Force Base.

Air Commandos included training at Melrose Air Force Range as part of the exercise. Aircraft maneuvered troops and cargo from Cannon to the range to add to the realism of the staged events.

Agencies across the base participated in simulated scenarios to better prepare personnel for potential real-world events.
