Last time out: The Buffaloes beat the Greyhounds 69-65 in overtime on Wednesday in the first half of the LSC's "Rivalry Week."

Of note: The Hounds have dropped eight of their last nine games, including six of seven in the LSC, and have fallen into an eighth-place tie with Abilene Christian as the second half of the LSC schedule begins. At the same time, they're still only two games behind fourth-place Texas A&M-Kingsville. The top eight of 10 teams make it to the LSC postseason tournament set for March 6-9 at Allen, Texas. … Cameron (10-5, 6-3) is third and within a game of co-leaders Midwestern State and Incarnate Word after edging MSU 64-63 on Wednesday. … A win over WT would give ENMU its fourth consecutive regular-season series split with the Buffs. They won in Canyon 73-70 two years ago, avenging a 70-49 loss to WT at Greyhound Arena three nights earlier.

Last time out: WT turned back the Zias 62-51 on Wednesday at Greyhound Arena in the first half of the LSC's "Rivalry Week."

Of note: The Zias are one game ahead of last-place Texas A&M-Kingsville in the standings. They'll have to leapfrog two teams — currently Texas Woman's is eighth at 4-7 and Cameron ninth at 3-7 — to qualify for the LSC postseason tournament. … Abilene Christian, Midwestern State and Tarleton State all won on Wednesday to remain tied for the league lead at 8-2, and Incarnate Word stayed a game back with a 57-33 rout of Kingsville. … WT now leads the all-time series with the Zias 58-10. ENMU's last win at Canyon came in the 1994 LSC tournament, a 73-70 overtime decision.
