Local radio personality appointed to council

Gov. Susana Martinez appointed local radio personality Stephen Rooney of Portales to the Governor's Council on Film and Media Industries Tuesday, according to a press release from the governor's office.

Rooney is the CEO, general manager and air talent for Rooney Moon Broadcasting and has been for the past 11 years, according to the press release.
