Ticket Feature: Second City bringing laughs

Chicago's legendary sketch comedy theater, The Second City, is here to fill your evening with laughs.

Members of the legendary comic group The Second City. The Thursday show at Marshall Auditorium will feature comical sketches, songs and improvisations that will involve the audience.

The show, which is part of the Clovis Community College Cultural Arts Series, will feature comical sketches, songs, improvisations and scripted elements that involve members of the audience.

The Second City, a Chicago landmark and nationally recognized brand of comedy, specializes in sketch comedy and improv and has provided entertainment for more than 50 years, according to the company's website.

The Second City launched the careers of Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and other star comics, according to the company's website.

The Second City has theaters and training centers in Chicago and Toronto and training centers in Hollywood. The company also has 11 full-time touring ensembles, thriving corporate communications, theatricals divisions and TV and film operations, according to the company's website.

Tickets may be purchased at the CCC cashiers' window, at the Clovis-Curry County Chamber of Commerce or at the door pending availability.
