The New Mexico Department of Transportation and Constructor, Inc. will be starting the next phase of construction starting Monday.
The construction will move from east of Avenue C on Second Street to Avenue A and the south, outside lane will be closed.
Construction will begin on westbound First Street from Boston Avenue to Avenue A and the south inside lane will be closed to traffic. Also, expect some temporary closures in the side streets.
Work will be finishing up in the first phase of the project near west Avenue C and concrete roadway is expected to be complete by the last week of May.
